Chen Jianfeng (1965.08-) expert in the field of chemical engineering. Native of Ningbo, Zhejiang. Graduated from Zhejiang University in 1992 with a doctorate in engineering.

He graduated from Zhejiang University with a bachelor's degree in 1986, and obtained a doctorate degree from Zhejiang University in 1992. In June 1994, he worked as a postdoctoral fellow at Beijing University of Chemical Technology. In 1996, he was promoted to a professor and was appointed as a doctoral supervisor in 1997. From 1997 to 1998, he served as a visiting professor in the Department of Chemical Engineering of Case Western Reserve University in the United States. From 1999 to 2000, he was a researcher at the Institute of Environmental Science and Technology, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore.

He is currently a member of the Party Leadership Group and Secretary-General of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, a member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of Beijing University of Chemical Technology, vice president, professor, and doctoral supervisor.

He focused on chemical reaction enhancement, carried out research from the three levels of theory-equipment-process, proposed a theoretical model of cross-scale molecular mixed reaction engineering, and created supergravity reactor technology and new technology for reaction and separation enhancement.
